6 months!

Happy half-birthday Zoe! Can you believe she's already 6 months old?!?! Once again to celebrate, mom and dad had cake while Zoe fought every temptation not to dive into the cake head first.

Splish Splash Happy Pool Time

The summer has been a scorcher here in Texas. What better way to cool off than to have a pool party with her good pal Max.

Just mention the word 'bath' to Zoe and it's drool city!

At first, they didn't really know what to make of it (or each other).

But then they got the hang of it.

Who doesn't like splish-splashing happy pool time?!?

So much fun she couldn't stay in focus.

Even mom had a blast!

Zoe Sits - The Yakety Saks Cut

August update

Rapidly approaching 5 months, Zoe got some quality family time in with her new cousin Sohpie, Aunt Julie and Uncle Rob and Oompa Paul and Mimi Cathy. It was a nice getaway from the 104 temperatures of Austin to spend a cool 101 degree day in San Antonio.

Zoe also ordered some new hair clips online and wanted to show them off.

Zoe is not afraid to show people her middle parts. In fact, she often offers up a peak from time to time.

Then it was family picture time. As always, the ladies in my life look stunning. Yep, that's what I get to come home to every day!

Zoe took a cute shot with her dad too.

While the available time to have sit down pictures, it helps to have a tripod and a timer on the camera. With such advantages, you can really get a great shot like this.

Punk Rock

Only 4 months old and already rebelling.

4 month checkup!

Really, 4 months old already? Really?

Yep, and we've got the stats to prove it! Weighing in at 13lbs and 14 1/2 ounces, Zoe is right at 50% percentile. Also smack dab in the middle, she is 24 1/2 inches long. She wouldn't allow that to stop her from beating the averages with a 41 1/2 cm head circumference. Big head, who'da thunk it!

Zoe's hair is starting to grow back in as well. Sort of a strawberry blonde color right now. Those blue eyes and long eye lashes are still holding strong too.

Cousin Sophie is here!

Zoe has a new cousin. Sophie Grace was born on July 20th and is super cute.



Congrats to Julie and Rob, as well as the rest of the family. We can't wait to watch our two beauties grow up together.

Pushups

She's still not a big fan of lying on her stomach, but she's getting better. Not only getting better, but proving to herself she can get on her back with a pushup and a roll.

Grantie was here...and this time we have proof.

Grantie made another visit and this time we remembered to take pictures. Grantie was also nice enough to cook and clean around the house, which was a ton of help.

3 month birthday.

Zoe makes a wish and mom and dad enjoy a tasty cupcake.

Zoe's new size

No longer fitting her newborn clothes, Zoe has moved up to 3mos sizes. A new outfit is the perfect excuse to take mass amounts of cute pictures.

More Cuteness

Zoe got her first 'aquarium' this weekend. Really, it's just a light up, music makin', monkey swingin' party. She loves it!

Uncle Robbie and Auntie Julie!

Though Zoe had met Uncle Robbie before, never has she had so much awesome Uncle Robbie time! Not only did Uncle Robbie want to hold The Zo as much as possible, but Zoe was quite content hanging with him too.

After spending so much quality time with Rob, Auntie Julie needed some Zo time as well. Zoe was happy to oblige. 

Zoe also discovered how comfortable the stand and lean position can really be. 

There there was just undeniable cuteness.

Mom's Day

Sally had a most excellent first Mother's Day. First, we went to lunch with our friends Jessica, Renee and Lance to Central Market. There, we had some tasty eats while listening to live music and catching up after almost 2 months of not seeing friends.

Since we were all looking dapper, we decided some nice family photos were in order. 

And...we're done.
